ORIENTATION AND TOUR: All new volunteers, including children, must attend the Orientation and Tour. All parents and children must fill out an application.

BACKGROUND CHECKS: To ensure the safety and well being of our volunteers and horses, Sunshine Horses conducts background check to screen for past convictions related to sex offenses and animal abuse and neglect.

HEALTH INSURANCE: Sunshine horses DOES NOT carry insurance for Health, Medical, Automobile, Workman's Comensation or Disability coverage for any volunteer. All volunteers must be resonsible for their own insurance coverage.

There are two shifts daily. Mornings 7:30 am. Afternoons 4:30 p.m. Please list the days you want to volunteer.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER

CHILDREN ages of 8 through 17 must have their parent or guardian sign the Release of Liability Waiver below.

CHILDREN up to the age of 16, must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times and until the Team Leader and Parent/Guardian give their approval that the child is proficient enough to work without parent/guardian supervision. The parent/guardian must still be present at Sunshine.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER

As a volunteer for Sunshine Horses, Inc., I acknowledge the risks and potential for risks posed by my handling and caring for livestock, and I voluntarily agree to assume these risks, such on-farm activities in which I will be participating in and that these activities may expose me to the risk of personal injury, death, or damage to your property. I understand the responsibilities and duties of a Sunshine Horses, Inc. volunteer. I am familiar with the duties involved in the care of the livestock and I represent that I am able to perform those duties. Accordingly, by my signature below, I hereby, intending to be legally bound, for myself, my heirs and assigns, executors or administrators, waive and release forever all claims for damages against Sunshine Horses, Inc., its Board of Directors, volunteers, and I or employees for any and all injuries and/or losses I may sustain while performing work for Sunshine Horses, Inc.
