AFTERCARE GUIDELINES & LASH HEALTH

Aftercare guidelines are explained on SGBeauty.org. While receiving lash extensions at SG Beauty, it is required to follow these instructions. I am passionate about keeping your natural lashes healthy, therefore, I will only apply extensions that are the appropriate weight for your natural lashes. We will discuss what is best suited for your natural lashes and how we can create your desired look and maintain the integrity of your natural lash. As your licensed professional, I reserve the right to make a new decision during your time with me as a client for what your lashes can handle.

WASH LASHES 2x DAILY (with a LASH CLEANSER)

When you do not cleanse daily, your lashes will develop a build up of skin, dirt, oil, debris, & makeup. After it builds up (which can happen quickly) it cannot be cleansed off in one day. It will greatly impact your natural lash health (& retention). The build up suffocates the hair follicle and will cause the lash to grow extremely weak and fall out prematurely. If this is the case, I will require you to take a lash break until they start grow healthy again. If your lashes have layers of build up - I cannot fill you. I will have to unfortunately cancel your appointment. The total amount for the service booked will still be required.

FILLS & APPOINTMENTS

CLEANSE BEFORE APPOINTMENT (WITH LASH CLEANSER):
Arrive to your appointment(s) with no oil/makeup on your entire eye area (eyelid, temples, under eyes, forehead). Wash your lashes right before or at most 30-45 minutes before your appointment. Please understand how important it is to have extremely clean lashes for your appointment(s). If I go to apply lash extensions and there is even a tiny bit of debris, oil or makeup, it will not adhere to your lash &/or fall off shortly after. Lash adhesive, tape & eye pads will not adhere properly and have to be thrown out. If not washed properly, I will have to take time to cleanse them properly (leaving less time for lashes to be applied). If you prefer the full lash application time frame & you're unable to wash thoroughly beforehand: Add on 'Lash Bath' option when booking to get the most out of your investment.

40% LASHED:
It is required to have AT LEAST 50 lashes remaining on EACH eye in order to be considered a “fill.” Please understand that I can only do what is possible in the time allowed. Some of those lashes will be removed due to grow out. If you arrive with less, we will have to cancel and book a full set. You will still owe the total amount for the service booked. If you wish to have fuller, longer lasting lashes between fills: Add-on extra fill time to your appointment and/or lash bath, come to appointment prepared & maintain proper aftercare.

21 DAYS:
No fills may be booked over 3 weeks (21 days) from their prior lash service. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you schedule one day over your 3 weeks, I will have to cancel your appointment and book for a full set.

LIMITED MOVEMENT: NO TALKING, LYING STILL, CAFFEINE/GUM
I love to catch up, however, once the application starts I will need you to lie as still as you possibly can. Talking creates small movements (making it difficult to apply lashes), moves the eye pads, & may allow adhesive fumes escape into your eyes. Be aware that this procedure requires you to lie very still & on your back for extended lengths of time. Movement will prevent me from being able to lash to my full ability. I suggest using the restroom before and after appointment.
Please put your phones on silent. You will not be able to open your eyes once the service has started. *Talking/Gum, & most importantly - Caffeine causes fluttery eyes and makes lashing not only difficult, but sometimes - impossible!*

NEW CLIENT *FILL:

My door is open to those who have had their lashes done elsewhere but wish to book their next fill at SG Beauty. Please follow the guidelines below:

STEP 1: You must BOOK A CONSULTATION. (Cannot be on the same day as the fill appointment). During the consultation I will see if you're able to receive a fill.

If not, removal & a full set is required. If yes, then:

STEP 2: Book an ‘Extended Fill’ Appointment. This gives me time to mesh together two different artists' work. Please keep in mind every lash artist has a different skill level & design - It may take a few fill appointments to get you to where you want to be! (Must be flexible with the outcome of the first few fills - especially if there is damage from previous lash application/maintenance).

*Note: You may book both of these appointments before you come in for the consult, but I suggest booking them (at least) 2 days apart - So if you are unable to receive a fill, you can avoid being charged the 24 hour cancellation fee.

Keep in mind, with the purchase of a Full Set at SG Beauty you receive a FREE Lash Extension REMOVAL (Org. $50) & a FREE Lash Aftercare Kit (Org. $30).
