Scholarship Eligibility And Details
This scholarship program will provide scholarships to the Terra 2022 World Congress, which will take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA from June 7 – 10, 2022.

Eligibility is based on if applicants have experience or demonstrated interest in earthen architecture and are one of the following:

a) from the 19 Pueblos or other Indigenous tribes in New Mexico
b) from an Indigenous tribe from other Southwestern states
c) or from an Indigenous tribe in Northern Mexico

To be considered for this scholarship, please complete the entire application below.

Scholarship awards will assist with or fully cover travel, accommodation, per diem costs, and conference registration. Some scholarship funds will also assist with attendance to pre-congress workshops. More information on those workshops is below.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Before the Terra 2022 Conference, three skill-building workshops will take place. On this webpage are descriptions of the three optional workshops taking place before the TERRA conference that will be one to three days depending on the nature of the topics covered. If you would like to apply for funding to attend one of these workshops, in addition to funding to attend Terra 2022, please complete the short essay question below, explaining why you would benefit from the workshop and how it would build on your previous experiences around earthen architecture.
