• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 2 Exam

  • Aggregate Testing Technician Level 2 Exam:

    The two-hour written examination is open-book and consists of approximately 100 multiple-choice questions. There are 8 to 12 questions on each of the standards. To pass the written examination, both of the following conditions must be met:

    • At least 60% correct for each of the required standards, and
    • A minimum score of 70% overall.

    The performance examination is closed-book and requires actual demonstration of the required standards. The examinee is judged on his/her ability to correctly perform or describe all of the required procedures for each standard.

  • ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 2 Exam Cost:

    $860/per person (includes textbook) - Tennessee Concrete Association Member

    $1185/per person (includes textbook) - Non-member Tennessee Concrete Association

    $225 - Retest (Written section or Performance Section)

     

    IMPORTANT Note about ASTM Standards

    The text of ASTM standards is no longer included in ACI publications.
    If you desire access to the actual ASTM standards as you prepare for your exam you may obtain the standards directly from ASTM international (www.astm.org).
    In some cases, your employer may already have access to ASTM standards through a company subscription.

    Textbook and shipping is included in the cost of exam & sent via UPS upon receipt of payment. Materials will be shipped to the company address unless otherwise indicated.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    • This is a difficult exam to pass. Prior study and practice of the performance tests are highly recommended. Study manual is included in the registration fee, but no materials will be sent until payment is received in the TCA office.
    • Substitutions allowed with prior permission from TCA office. If student is unable to attend no refund will be issued if TCA has not been contacted by email to dsparkman@tnconcrete.org and phone at least two weeks prior to exam day.
    • Upon prior notification of a cancellation the student can be placed in the next available class, or a refund will be issued. If student does not attend the second exam session, a refund (less $125) will be issued and the student will have to re-register for a future exam session.

     

    Registration is secured when payment is received.
