  • Terms & Conditions: Cidermill Equestrian

    1. Registration & Liability:  A signed Registration Form and Liability Waiver must be completed by all participants (or a legal guardian if the participant is under 18) prior to entering the arena or participating in any activities on the premises.

    2. Equipment & Safety Requirements
To ensure the safety of our riders and the comfort of our horses, the following dress code is strictly enforced:

Footwear: All participants must wear boots with a minimum half-inch heel to prevent the foot from sliding through the stirrup.
Apparel: Long pants (breeches, leggings, or jeans) are required to prevent skin chafing.
Hair: For safety and visibility, long hair must be tied back and secured.
Helmets: ASTM/SEI-certified equestrian helmets must be worn at all times when mounted.

    3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or "no-shows," will be subject to a $25.00 Late Fee.
Membership/Term Lessons: For those on a fixed 1, 2, or 3-month term, you are allotted one makeup lesson per month (subject to 24-hour notice). Any additional missed lessons are forfeit.

    4. Rider Code of Conduct

Prioritize Horse Welfare: Treat all horses with kindness. Harsh use of reins, legs, or whips will not be tolerated.
Barn Etiquette: No running, screaming, or loud noises around the stable areas.
Arena Awareness: Follow standard arena rules (calling out when entering/exiting the arena, pedestrians to use the side ("man") door).
Punctuality: Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your lesson to check in and assist with grooming/tacking (if applicable to your level). Late arrivals may result in a shortened lesson time.
Supportive Environment: Treat staff, fellow riders, and visitors with respect. We are a tight knit community—encourage your stable-mates!

    5. Membership & Refund Policy (coming soon)
Membership Fees: The $75 Annual Membership fee is non-refundable and includes one (1) stable t-shirt.
Term Refunds: If a 1, 2, or 3-month term is cancelled early, a refund will be issued for the remaining balance. However, all completed lessons will be retroactively billed at the full Drop-In rate ($49.95 Group / $59.95 Private), and the discount will be voided.
