  • Important Information Regarding Color/Blonde services

    When booking a color or blonde appointment online, please keep in mind that MOST services have a starting price with a + sign next to it. Hair lengths & thicknesses vary, so it is difficult to give a set price for your appointment. If the service says “Starting At ___+” means, that there is a product charge attached to the starting price based off of how much product needs to be used depending on your length/thickness of hair. This charge can vary from $15-$160 depending on what needs to be used and done to the hair, and is calculated by the ounce. I hope this helps when preparing for your appointment! Transparency in my pricing is what I strive for, and nobody wants hidden fees!

  • Elegance by Emily understands that sometimes schedules change and therefore please give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment! 


    Required Booking Retainer for $100+ services.

    ALL salon services $100 or over require a 25% 
    NON-REFUNDABLE booking retainer and will be immediately processed at the time of booking to approve your appointment request and reserve you spot! This applies to new and current guests. The appointment request will not be accepted or confirmed on the schedule until the booking retainer is paid. Once the retainer has officially been paid, the appointment will be accepted and confirmed and you will receive your appointment confirmation email. (I understand if you cannot pay the retainer immediately when booking, but once it's paid I will approve the appointment- not paying your retainer doesn't confirm your appointment even if you schedule online and the appointment can be available to others to schedule.) The price of this retainer varies on the amount of the starting priced service. (examples below)

    Appointment requests will not be accepted and confirmed without this booking retainer. When you come to your scheduled or rescheduled appointment, this retainer WILL get taken off the final cost of the service on the day of your appointment. Retainers (deposits) are nonrefundable that cover any products or tools purchased to complete your service, lost time, & money lost from a service not being completed if a cancellation happens. If you cancel your appointment regardless of the time/date cancelled and you reschedule to a new date, (this reschedule can be days or weeks scheduled out if needed, I want to work with you- life happens!!) that booking retainer will be transferable & used on the newly rescheduled appointments service. If you cancel your appointment and do not wish to reschedule, you will NOT be refunded back the booking retainer. I will have your booking retainer notated in the system to take off your final total when you wish to reschedule again. If you no show and do not call/text and do not show up to your appointment, you lose your booking retainer and you will have to place a new retainer to be able to schedule a new appointment.

    Please place your booking retainer payment upon booking your service with one of the available payment options. Once payment is received and this form has been filled out, appointment request will be confirmed.

    If you wish to pre-book your next appointment ($100 or over starting price) in the salon, you will still have to place a booking retainer, and it can be done with the payment options above.

     


    Final notes: Wedding services, haircut only, facial waxings, add-on services, and any service less than $100 starting price, do not apply to the booking retainer policy & have it’s own contractual agreement or because it’s a small service less than $100 starting price. The retainer is never to be given back or refunded, but to only be deducted from your final total when you do show up to your scheduled or rescheduled appointment. When you forget your appointment or cancel, I miss out on an opportunity to fill that time slot. I understand this is an investment to some and my guests miss the chance to receive my services when that happens. If I (hairstylist) have to reschedule an appointment for any reason, you WILL NOT lose your booking retainer and it will be used towards the rescheduled appointment and to be taken off the final total. I also hope this allows with budgeting for your upcoming service with the booking retainer being paid ahead of time and to break up the final cost. This is policy. Please understand this is my livelihood, not a hobby and this needs to be understood before if/when you move forward.     Elegance by Emily values your time and feels that it is fair to honor the same policies I hold to my guests. Should Elegance by Emily need to cancel on a client due to unsafe weather conditions, power outages, illness, family obligations, or other unforeseen events with less than 24 hours notice, I will honor your booking retainer, plus an additional $10 off your next identical service and do all I can to reschedule your appointment in a timely manner.

    No refunds shall be made after a service has been completed. If you are unhappy with your service outcome or experience, please allow up to 7 days post-appointment to communicate that with your stylist to adjust, correct, or rectify an experience you are unhappy with.   • COVID-19 Policy

    If you, or anyone close to you (family member, coworker, spouse) have shown or been exposed to someone with any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms, or have tested positive for COVID-19 within 2 weeks leading up to your appointment, I ask that you simply just reschedule your appointment with me so that you can quarantine and get tested. I am very flexible with rescheduling when it comes to this because I am also trying to stay protected for not only myself, but also my family.

    Masks are optional in my salon. If you prefer to wear a mask, I will have disposeable masks provided. 

    If you have not shown any symptoms or have been tested negative, you are welcome to come to your scheduled appointment!
