    Thank you for your interest in nominating a teacher. Here are FAQs that provide additional information.

  • Who may be nominated?

    Classroom teachers of any subject currently teaching in grades K-12 at Grandview, Raytown, Center, Hickman and KCPS districts and charters within KCPS boundaries.

    Who may nominate?

    Current or former students, and parents on behalf of a student.

    Will my teacher know about the nomination?

    Yes, we will contact the teacher and share the nomination with them.

    What is the nomination deadline?

    February 28, 2022

    How will I know if my teacher has been selected?

    We will contact you prior to final selections.

    If my teacher is selected, what happens next?

    Both student and teacher will be notified and scheduled for a professional photograph. Teachers will be recognized and presented with prizes during Women’s History Month on Wednesday, March 30th at 7:00 p.m.

    Nominations (anonymously) will be shared throughout the month of February and March.

    All entries become the property of the sponsors. The selection process and winners will be at the sole discretion of the sponsor.

  • Terms and Conditions 

    Each Nominator represents that his/her nomination does not contain anything that would violate laws.  Nominator has permission from any additional person referenced in the nomination.   Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any nomination that it believes contains offensive or inappropriate language. 

    Each Nominator grants the sponsor a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish and display his/her nomination in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology for promotional or marketing purposes.   

    Sponsor reserves the right to contact Nominees for more information in connection with the Awards and to retain any information collected for use in judging and winner selection, future use in promoting. 

    BY PARTICIPATING IN THE AWARDS, NOMINATORS AND NOMINEES AGREE THAT SPONSOR WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY NOMINATORS AND/OR NOMINEES AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.
