  • At Lincoln Village, we offer more than affordable housing. All of our residents are part of a program called Evolve. Each resident meets twice a month with their Neighborhood Coordinator who walks alongside them to help them meet the goals they have set for themself and become all that God created them to be. 


    Requirements:

    • Residents must be US citizens or permanent residents.
    • Adults must be either single parents or legally married parents with full or partial custody of their children. Preference is given to those with children under the age of 13.
    • Residents must work at least 30 hours a week and your monthly income must fall within the range on the chart below. We also prefer that you have worked at your current job for 6 months.

    All adults (19 years & older) must meet the minimum required income and work hours and submit a separate application including all additional documentation. If there are 2 adults in the household, please add $900 to the minimum monthly take home pay.

    If you are self-employed and cannot provide documentation of your work hours, the 30 hour/week work requirement can be waived. In this case, the minimum income requirement will be $600 more than the amounts listed above and the same income documentation submitted to the IRS will be required.

    Documents can be brought to the office Monday - Thursday between 9am - 3pm. If you come after hours, please place documents in the mail box with the LN sticker on it at the top of the stairs.


    Additonal Documents Needed:

    • Driver’s license or photo ID 
    • Your pay stubs from the last 2 months 
    • The previous year’s tax document
    • Documentation of additional income: court ordered benefits, Social Security, etc. (if applicable)
    • Marriage license (if applicable)

    REMINDER - All members of the household 19 years and older must submit a separate application and include all the documents listed above.


    Additional Information:

    • The rental rates for the units at Lincoln Village range from $300 - $375 per month, depending on the size of the unit.
    • No pets are allowed in the rental units.
    • Not all who apply will be accepted due to housing availability. We currently do not have any units available, but will keep your application on file for 6 months.
    • When we receive your application and all the required documents, we will contact you by email. Once a house becomes available, we will contact you to see if you are still interested in housing at Lincoln and we will send you the Step #2 application. After we receive your completed Step #2 application, we will contact you to ask any further questions we have, and set up a time for you to come into the office to meet with some of our staff members. 
    • The Evolve program, Lincoln Academy, and Little Linc all have separate applications. Acceptance into the Evolve program does not mean automatic acceptance into Lincoln Academy or LIttle Linc. School applications must be filled out independently and have different requirements.
