1- AILA WA EMERGING ACHIEVER AWARD (Student)
This award recognises achievement in design, planning, communications, and research that is based upon the development of innovative, creative and practical solutions to landscape architectural challenges.
Submissions shall comprise work undertaken as part of formal studies in an AILA accredited Landscape Architecture course and/or activities and initiatives undertaken while enrolled in an accredited course.
The applicant is to be nominated by a program or subject coordinator of the AILA accredited course. The student must be a student member of AILA (free membership - join now)
2 - JUDGING CRITERIA
Entries will be assessed in terms of demonstrated and recognised outstanding achievement, which may include the following:

Demonstrated professional practice excellence; through innovation, superior communications skills, project management or leadership.

Projects or equivalent initiatives that demonstrate the possibility of providing future leadership to the profession.

Activities or projects that raise the profile and understanding of the profession

Leadership and initiatives that address the profession's priorities such as those outlined in the Landscape Charter.

A demonstrated enthusiasm, interest, and involvement in the profession of landscape architecture and an understanding of how it might relate to the wider community currently and in the future.
Judging will be undertaken by the 2022 AILA WA Awards Jury and winners will be announced at the 2022 WA Awards Announcement 24 June 2022.
