Danny Dollar Academy for Teachers

Danny Dollar Academy
Who: For use in 6-12 Special Education classrooms

What: This is an online, on-demand, training for teachers to learn how to use Danny Dollar Academy with their students in the classroom. Each teacher registering for Danny Dollar Academy will receive access to the Canvas course on how to teach Danny Dollar lesson plans, as well as a copy of the Danny Dollar: Millionaire Extraordinaire book.

Upon completion of the online Canvas workshop, continuing education units for the teacher and copies of Danny Dollar: Millionaire Extraordinaire will be mailed to the teacher for each student to use in the classroom. The books will belong to the students.

When: Teachers will teach the lessons and students will read the book during 2022-2023 school year.

Special note for teachers of students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities: Thanks to a generous grant from the Mississippi Council on Developmental Disabilities, all students who successfully complete Danny Dollar Academy program will receive a $25 gift card.
