Arrival/Departure Date Change

One of the ideas brought up in the Annual Residence Club Meeting was to change the arrival/departure date of planned vacations to a mandatory Tuesday through Tuesday. Potential benefits of this change include:

• Allows Members to stay the whole weekend vs. leaving first thing Sunday morning
• Allows families to enjoy the entirety of a long weekend that has a Friday or Monday Holiday (e.g. Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day, President’s Day, etc.)
• Travel accessibility and affordability of traveling mid-week vs. on the weekend
• Most importantly, it would make your travel day the “dark day” at the Club. This way, you have access to all Club facilities each day of your stay.

Harvest Room Doors

About two years ago, we gauged your interest in retrofitting the Harvest Rooms of the existing Villas with accordion-style doors to make the Harvest Room more functional through all seasons.

While support came in at just under 40% two years ago, it is still the single most common feedback we receive in the Residence Office relative to residence improvements. An improvement such as this would come as an assessment to the Members of the Residence Club.

After consulting with multiple contractors, estimates suggest this can be completed with a one-time assessment between $1,500 and $2,000 per family to retrofit all (5) of the Residence Club 3-Bedroom Villas.

Membership Representative

Every few years, we rotate our Membership Representative on the HOA Board of Directors. This topic was covered in the annual Residence Club Meeting in August. If you are interested in representing your fellow Members on the board, please indicate your interest below. This is a chance for you to provide input on behalf of all Residence Club Members.
