Mapping of Golf Course Activities
Golf Course Activities Mapping Process.
Assign (include/exclude) the relevant golf course games to technique, skill and performance stages. For example, the 14 selected game formats that are assigned as performance stage games, will each be played on average 3.9 times during one performance stage period (orange area), and 1.7 times during the other performance oriented period. Far right column determines what percentage of the "Total Number of Golf Rounds Per Stage" will be standard stroke play rounds.
Mapping of Putting Activities
Putting Drills Mapping Process.
Assign (include/exclude) the relevant drills to technique, skill and performance stages. For example, there are 25 drills assigned a technique stage category, each will be practiced on average 3.6 times during one technique stage period (red area), and 2.0 times during the other technique oriented period.
Mapping of Short Game Activities
Short Game Drills Mapping Process.
[Applies to Performance Stage periods.] Include/exclude the drill entirely. Then (re)arrange the drills. Drills that are given higher priority will be practiced more often and vice versa. The "Island Hopping Drill" will be practiced 7 times during one Performance Stage period (orange area), and 6 times during the other.
Short Game Situations Mapping Process
[Applies to Technique and Skill Stage periods.] Include/exclude the situation entirely. Then (re)arrange by priority/relevance. Additional situations can be added to the matrix of 39 relevant short game situations, although the current setup is sufficient. 57th ranked situation will be practiced 5 times more than the 24th. If bump'n'run (57th) skills are satisfying, and specific flop shot (24th) demands more attention, switch their places and practice flop 5 times more during a given time period.
Mapping of Driving Range Activities
Coming Soon.
Specific exercises are a part of Technique Stage. Specific creative drills are a part of Skill Stage. Specific goal oriented tasks are a part of Performance Stage.
