Procedures to be performed
All general anesthesia and/or profound sedation carries a certain amount of risk. +We take as many precautions as possible to ensure we keep your pet as safe and monitored as possible. +Every pet that undergoes anesthesia at MVVC will get the following and is included in the price: ♦ Pre-surgical heart auscultation to listen for heart murmurs/lung abnormalities. ♦ Pre-surgical EKG to detect heart rhythm issues ♦ A CBC (complete blood count) to rule out anemia, infection, platelet count, and hydration. ♦ Appropriate pain control package to keep your pet comfortable and return to function smoothly. +Pre-medication with an opioid pain reliever, visceral analgesic, and sedative based on procedure. ♦ All pets will receive absorbable sutures under the skin at no charge, unless indicated otherwise. ♦ While under anesthesia will be monitored with EKG, Blood Pressure, and Pulse Oximetry.
