As a Merchant I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. TERMS - This Agreement will commence on April 9, 2025, when items are dropped off to Country Store and terminate on April 13, 2025 at 8:00 pm when unsold items are removed. It is the responsibility of the Merchant to provide adequate inventory to be sold. Additionally, I understand that space is limited, and the display area will be determined by the Country Store Manager.
2. COMPENSATION - Fees for consigning craft or non food items will be charged a twenty-five dollar ($25) non-refundable service fee and a 15% commission on sales. Fees for Merchants consigning Food items will be charged a ten-dollar ($10) non-refundable service fee and a 10% commission on sales. Payment to the Merchant will be made within 3 business days from the close of the Event. All Merchants selling six-hundred dollars ($600.00) or more of items will be reported to the IRS in the form of a MISC-1099.
3. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS - I understand that as a “Merchant” I am an independent contractor and will not be considered an employee or agent of the Clark County Fair & Rodeo.
4. INVENTORY/LOSS – I understand that all items must be inventoried and verify by a representative of the Country Store and agree to have all items on display at the risk of loss or theft. Furthermore, I understand and agree that the Country Store will put forth every effort to prevent loss/theft & secure the building in which items are on display to be sold.
