The mission of Minerva Area Christian School is to provide a high-quality Chris- tian education in an atmosphere where children can grow academically, socially, physically, and spiritually in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. MACS is a ministry of First Christian Church of Minerva. We are currently educating children from ages 3 through 8th grade.

Our Elementary program offers your child a chance to learn in a safe, nurturing Christian environment. We utilize Christ-centered curriculum and value the opportunity to teach your child biblical truth from a non-neutral worldview. We truly value educating children for this life and for eternity.

We believe that communication is very important between the school and each family. You will receive weekly updates at the school from both the office and from your child’s teacher to make you aware of the exciting things that are happening at MACS. Furthermore, our office and staff members have school issued emails where you are welcome to send any questions or feedback.

Tuition Information

Minerva Area Christian School is a tuition-based school, with a large portion of its financial assets generated through student tuition payments. In order to help collect anticipated tuition payments, Minerva Area Christian utilizes the FACTS Management Company. Parents may choose the option of automatic bank payments from either their checking or savings account or they may elect to charge payments to their credit card. Parents may choose a monthly, quarterly, or semi- annual payment option. (Individuals choosing the credit card option will be assessed a “convenience” fee. Credit card options include MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express.) However, families may bypass using the FACTS program if they pay the year in full by August 15, 2023.In addition, if the person assuming financial responsibility has a different last name now than a year ago, a new account will need to be set up with FACTS. You must go online to set up an account with FACTS.
When you set up an account for your automatic withdrawal to occur, you will be charged a set-up fee of $45 which will be withdrawn from your account or charged to your credit card within a week/10 days. The only way to avoid this charge is to pay your tuition in full at the school office by August 15, 2023, as all families are required to use the FACTS program for tuition payments. Families who will be using the FACTS program and who were not part of the MACS family last year will need to set up an account with FACTS. Families who have utilized FACTS during the preceding school year for automatic bank withdrawals (ACH—Automatic Clearing House) do not need to set up an additional FACTS account if no checking/credit card information has changed. Instead, re enrollment for the 2023-24 school year will be done automatically. However, if the information completed on the 2022-23 FACTS account has changed you will need to go online and access your account to make the necessary changes. For example, if the individual accepting responsibility for payment is utilizing a new financial institution/bank, a change can be made on the FACTS website.

Tuition Cost for the 2023-2024 School Year

There is a registration fee of $200 for new students and $175 for returning students for our elementary program. The total tuition cost for the school year is $3250.
