GRADUATION APPLICATION / EXIT SURVEY

  • All students who intend to graduate from Reformed University must declare this intent by completing the Graduation Application. This application should be completed and submitted with all supporting documents at least two weeks prior to graduation in which the student plans to complete degree requirements. Degrees are awarded at the end of the spring term upon the completion of all degree requirements. The University holds one commencement (graduation) ceremony each May for those who have completed all degree requirements. Students will be contacted via email by university during spring semester with information regarding commencement.

    Students will get their caps and gowns through the campus during the spring semester. Diplomas and final transcripts will only be released to those students who have satisfied all financial obligations to the university. Students must have met all financial obligations to the University at least two weeks prior to graduation.

    Any student unable to attend commencement must notify the dean in writing no later than two weeks prior to graduation. Degrees are conferred only once a year. If a student applies for graduation but has not completed the requirements for the specified conferment date, the student must re-apply for the next graduation and pay an additional graduation fee.

  • Transferring Credits: If you are transferring credits from another institution to complete your degree requirements we will need to have an official transcript delivered to the university October 1 for May graduation, and May 1 for December graduation, and Transfer Credit Analysis Form. If you are unable to receive a transcript by this date, please contact the Dean's Office for further instructions.

    Commencement Policy: Candidates for degrees from Reformed University may not participate in Commencement unless all requirements, including graduation fees, thesis/dissertation requirement, outstanding balance, course work, etc. are scheduled for completion before the day of Commencement, and such participation is contingent upon the successful completion of all requirements before the ceremony. Candidates who will be completing requirements between the time Commencement programs go to press and the day of graduation will appear on the list of graduates with an asterisk next to their name, and the statement: "One or more graduation requirements not fulfilled at the time this program was printed".
