  • Katrina Hayes is an Autism Advocate, Author, Speaker, and Scientist with a vision to create inspiring stories that her readers can deeply relate to. As a proud mother and sister of two individuals with autism, she continually strives for inclusivity and raising awareness in everything she does. And this is exactly why, in her recent book, she made sure her son with autism was the main star.

    In addition to being certified in Mental Health First Aid, Katrina holds two degrees: a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Medical Biology. She was also the Girls Inc. of NYC Volunteer of the Year in 2011.

    When she isn't writing or advocating, you can find this sassy soul relaxing at the beach, doing HIIT workouts, or belly laughing every chance she gets. Three of her superpowers are presence, her sense of humor and her zest for life.
