    Text: Colossians 1:15-20

    Main Idea: We can live our lives with true hope, stand firm in
    the truth of the gospel, go to the world and be witnesses for
    Christ with great confidence, and even find rest in the midst of
    our darkest moments. And that is because Jesus Christ is Lord
    of all. He is Lord over all of Creation and He is Lord over the
    Church.

  • 1. Jesus is Lord over all of  (vs.15-17)

    a) All things were created   Jesus (vs. 16a)

    b) All things were created  Jesus (vs. 16b)

    c) All things were created  Jesus (vs. 16c)

    d) All that has been created is  by Jesus (v. 17)



    2. Jesus is Lord over the   (vs. 18-20)

    a) Jesus is the    of the Church (vs. 18a)

    b) Jesus is the  , the firstborn from the dead (vs. 18b)



    3. Jesus is infinitely   and  as Lord of All (vs. 18c-20)

    a) Jesus is  in the flesh (vs. 19)

    b) True   and  come through Jesus and His cross alone (vs. 20)
