RAINBOW AFRICA INITIATIVE - UGANDA

Rainbow Africa Initiative (RAI-Ug) was established in 2016 as a radical act of solidarity: a network founded by rural Ugandan queer feminists, sex workers, and allied organizations confronting state violence, patriarchal exclusion, and the devastating impacts of laws like the Anti-Homosexuality Act (2014). Our membership, spanning individuals and community organizations, mobilized to address the systemic denial of safe spaces, SRHR services, and economic justice to rural queer communities, sex workers, and marginalized womn. Today, RAI-Ug drives change through our member-powered network, leveraging collective strength to advance intersectional rights, health, and resilience across rural Uganda.

Read the rules carefully.
1. Membership is available to anyone 18 years of age or older.

2. Uphold feminist, inclusive, and non-discriminatory values.

3. I join the Rainbow Africa Initiative with discipline of a free society without stigma and discrimination among other community members.

4. Confidentiality on organization and members' ideas is a must to me

6. Attending and particpating in organization activities whenever call and respond positively.
