Join Open Science Community Saudi Arabia (OSCSA)

Although there is an increasing number of initiatives in Saudi Arabia to connect researchers, there is no single community dedicated to stimulating responsible research practices and Open Science policies.

Therefore, we initiated an Open Science community in Saudi Arabia to provide a place where newcomers and experienced peers interact, inspire each other to embed open science (research) practices and values in their workflows and provide feedback on policies, infrastructures and support services. Together working to make Open Science the norm in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

The community welcomes practitioners, researchers, librarians, free thinkers, and institutions from the Arab region, both within and beyond Saudi Arabia

Our community is part of the International Network of Open Science & Scholarship Communities (INOSC). You don’t need any Open Science expertise to join OSCSA, nor does joining OSCSA means that you have to commit to certain practices. We’re all just here to learn, share and discuss!
