Right Charter project
Information for Young People and Parents
Forces Children Scotland is a charity who work with children and young people from serving and veteran families in Scotland. We have a new exciting project working to develop a Rights Charter for children and young people from serving and veterans families. This work follows on from work we undertook this year with young people to publish a Rights Report.

Over December and January, we will be visiting various schools across the country to ask children and young people their views on their Rights.
At the end of January we’ll take everything we’ve learnt and 15 young people on a residential to Carronvale House in Falkirk. The accommodation we have does require the sharing of rooms. (If this poses a difficulty for you, please get in touch with Nina to discuss.)

The residential is free to attend and young people will be transported to and from the venue.
Over the course of the weekend, we’ll take everything we’ve learnt at the school sessions and work together to develop a Rights Charter for children and young people from armed forces families.
