  • Thank you for helping the Steering Committee gather all the necessary input to submit a formal invitation to Sail GP! There is no guarantee that Seatte will meet Sail GP's basic requirements on Elliott Bay.  We will provide updates here as more input rolls in.  Currently, we are exploring the possibility of a 12-day racing event and celebration along Seattle's new waterfront on Elliott Bay.

    1. Number of hotel rooms of 3-star and above quality (differentiated between star rating) within 20 minutes by car of the proposed race village venue.

    2. Typical occupancy levels and room rates during the preferred hosting month(s).

    3. Possibility of Sai GP entering a maximum charging agreement with a hotel association or equivalent local organization to fix room rates at an agreed level.
