You are applying for sawyer certification, required of all crosscut and chain saw sawyers cutting on Forest Service managed lands. This certification is a USFS certification and is achieved by attending a BCHW course consisting of an all-day classroom and field training. Attending BCHW Saw Certification class alone does not guarantee certification.

Certification cards will only be issued to applicants who exhibit safety and skilled proficiency using the chainsaw/crosscut saw in field demonstration during the course and have current First Aid/CPR cards.

Crosscut certifications requires 16 or + years of age, chain saw requires 18 or + years of age.
