    How do I book?

    At present, bookings and payments are made via our reception team so if you would like to book, please give us a call on 01484 483000 and we will reserve your desk for when you need it.

     

    Can I use a desk without booking?

    Yes, if you arrive at The Media Centre on the day and we have unreserved desks available we will allocate one for you and take payment on your arrival.

     

    When is Flex open?

    Flex desks are available to book Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) 8.30am to 5pm

     

    What are the costs?

    Flex: Daily is £11.00 per day + VAT

    Flex: Weekly is £45.00 per week + VAT

    Flex: Boost is £120 + VAT

    Flex Plus is £230 + VAT

     

    How do I pay?

    At present payment can be made by debit or credit card over the phone or in person at reception

    Flex: Daily or Flex: Weekly - Pay at time of booking or on arrival for use

    Flex: Boost or Flex: Plus - Pay at time of requesing the package

     

    What is the cancellation policy?

    We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or change your booking, however we do have a limited number of desks and the charge for the desk + VAT (or a days use if on the Flex: Boost / Flex: Plus package) would still apply if:

    • You do not attend your booking.
    • You cancel your booking with 24 hours of it's start time (the start time for all bookings is 8.30am)

    If you book the Flex: Weekly option, if you choose not to use the desk on all days of the booking, the weekly cost is still applicable as the desk has been held for your use.

     

    Will I have Wi-Fi access?

    Yes, all our desks have access to our high-speed Wi-Fi network.

     

    Can I leave things overnight?

    No, our hot desks do not come with storage and we are not able to store things at reception. When using, please make sure your desk is clear when you leave.

     

    Can I make phone calls?

    Whilst we appreciate that as a business you may need to make some calls during the day, Flex is an area where other people are working and numerous or long phone calls may provide a distraction to them.

    If you need to make or receive a long call, we recommend booking a meeting space (prices available at reception).
