Before you register, here are some practical informations on the symposium (this info are also in the confirmation email you will receive after registering).
Wi-Fi & open payments:
At the out-back of the Haxthäuser Hof there is no Wi-Fi and a very poor internet connection via roaming. Therefore, it’s not possible to pay anything by card
If you still need to pay the tent please bring cash. As well as for the drinks at the bar.
Drinking water & shower:
As the tap water on location is from a well and not safe for consumption, we will provide drinking water in tanks. Please bring your own refillable water bottle!!
We made first financial calculations and due to these we are not able to provide showering for free for all people joining in with their own tent/camper/sleeping in the car. We will set up ‘a shower-pot’ (in German ‘KaffeeKasse’) and would like everybody to chip in € 5.- (or on own choice even more) that we can still provide a cheap stay and share the cost with all of you.
Thank you for your understanding.
"Schmuck-Tisch" (Jewellery Table):
On Saturday evening we will organise the famous ‘Schmuck Tisch’
Join in and bring some of your jewellery to put it on the table:for everyone to look, touch, chat and discuss about all the jewels.
The weather:
Further we would like to inform you that it can be a bit cool in the barn compared to the (hopefully) warm summer weather outside and consider that it is a mostly open-air event. So bring some warm clothes as well. Also a rain-coat might come in handy.
Getting there:
For travelling by car: please make sure to insert Haxthäuser Hof Ingelheim into your navigation system. (The is another Haxthäuserhof in Nierstein not so far away)
From the main road on, we will set up signs on each crossing to make finding the way more easy.
For travellers by train/bus: here is the schedule for the bus ride from Mainz HBF to Wackernheim get of at the stop: Wackernheim / Grosse Hohl and enjoy the 15 min walk through the fields.
COVID 19:
Last but not least, as organisers of the Jewellery Symposium, we are obliged to follow the current Corona guidelines. At this moment, there are no restrictions. We are very happy that we don’t have any Corona restrictions anymore and mask wearing is not anymore required. In any case somebody prefers to wear a mask we respect this as an optional choice.
Should any restrictions be issued by the government, you will immediately be informed by email.
We wish you a good journey to the Haxthäuser Hof!
if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
