“Life In Leggings: Caribbean Alliance Against Gender-based Violence” (Registered Charity #1602) is a regional organisation, based in Barbados, founded to eradicate the rape culture and gender-based violence in the Caribbean region through advocacy, education, empowerment, and community outreach.
As an approved entity of the Give Back Barbados program, we are eager to work with students who are currently pursuing courses of study at UWI, BCC, and Erdiston Teachers' Training College who are desirous of volunteering with us as part of their community service requirements.
We are looking for dynamic persons who are interested in helping our organization fulfill its mandate of protecting the fundamental rights of women and girls in the Caribbean to live full lives free from all forms of violence.
