We have some exciting news to share - Your Tour Leader is most likely rescheduling your trip of a lifetime for new dates! So, be sure to check with them on that. And, if you keep your booking in place you don't have to do anything! Both your funds paid and insurance are automatically transferred to this rescheduled adventure. Even better news is that this actually saves you hundreds of dollars!

We hate that you are even having to consider this and want to be sure that you have all of the information that you need in making this decision.
Even though a pandemic situation seems like it should be an insurance claim circumstance, unfortunately no travel insurance covers a pandemic or fear/threat of a pandemic or even border closings or self-quarantine! We have learned that someone would have to be physically medically quarantined to be covered, so that rules out any "quarantine" or even border closure claims.
Some very good news is that Jerusalem Tours is still working relentlessly to recover every dollar possible and in most cases this is comparable to an insurance claim, but it does take time to accomplish that.
Because we secured your booking in good faith, there are minimum non-refundable costs that have already been incurred and paid to suppliers as detailed in the Terms and Conditions when you signed up, that are non-recoverable. Unfortunately, covid conditions actually make this worse, rather than better, and we are doing everything we can to mitigate that as much as possible. We also want to make sure you know that if you receive a refund and then sign back up at a later date the trip will be at least $300-$500 more per person due to normal cost increases.
SO, by leaving your booking in place you are actually making at least 7% on your funds! AND, we are committed to do everything we can to keep the costs as close to the current price as possible, as before, saving you hundreds of dollars per person.
If you are still considering a refund, we've outlined below the Terms and Conditions as stated on your signed registration form.
**PLEASE NOTE** If you are requesting a refund of recoverable funds, we have most likely expended funds to pay in full or put deposits on items like insurance, air and land services that may be non-refundable and the process takes 8-10 weeks to recover any funds that we can under "normal" circumstances - because of this WE ARE UNABLE TO GIVE SPECIFIC REFUND AMOUNTS UNTIL THE REFUND IS ACTUALLY PROCESSED after 8-10 weeks, but are thankfully and Miraculously being able to meet that timing in general.
The tables below summarize from your signed registration form that there is a minimum amount and any insurance that is non-recoverable, plus any additional non-recoverable costs that have been incurred - THE TOTAL AMOUNT DEPENDS ON WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST AS SPECIFIED IN THE TABLE BELOW. We will do our best to issue a Future group Travel Credit, FTC, for as much of that as possible.
