• Discovering Pinewoods

The First Year and Life-Long Impact
  • As part of our upcoming centennial celebration, Pinewoods Camp will be collecting stories of Pinewoods, and we want yours!  Your responses will become part of the Pinewoods Camp first 100 years collection. Tell us about how you discovered Pinewoods and where it has taken you.

While we hope to make these available to the Pinewoods community as part of our centennial celebration, we want your stories for future generations. If you know people who used to come to Camp, please encourage them to tell their stories.

This is adapted from a two-week adventure in September 2020 for Pinewoods Youth 1947-1974 that snowballed from an email inquiry to a half dozen people and grew into a Zoom reunion for 40 people. We started collecting written versions from participants, and as these poured in, we realized that we wanted to invite EVERYONE who has been to Camp to tell their story! Fast forward to now --we are eager to hear from YOU. We are looking forward to sharing these stories with the Greater Pinewoods Community —stay tuned….
