Gift Bag Sewer Sign Up

The MHM Goody Bags for Good program hires MHM clients to sew cloth gift bags from upcycled clothing and fabric to sell to donors. Sewers will be provided with a sewing supplies kit, sewing machine (if needed), fabric, thread and ribbon and a quality control check list. Sewers will be expected to pick up supplies at MHM, sew the bags at home and return them to MHM. They will be paid $15.00 per approved bag set (1 jewelry, 1 small, 1 large and 1 wine) and are expected to sew at least two sets per week.

Participant must:

- live in a smoke free home

- have a pet free workspace for sewing

- be able to com to MHM for orientation & training

- be able to come to MHM to pick up supplies and drop off completed bags at least 2xs a month

- commit to at least 2 hours a week to sewing bags
