2022 Annual Scientific Symposium - Abstract Submission Form

The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) Michigan Chapter is inviting the submission of abstracts to be presented at the 2022 Annual Scientific Symposium held virtually on May 24, 2022. Membership in SCCM and the Michigan Chapter of SCCM is encouraged, but not required to participate in this event.

Any new or previously presented material is acceptable. Abstracts may be presented by any discipline of critical care. There will be two categories for abstracts: 1) Original research/quality improvement and 2) Case report or case series.

ABSTRACT DEADLINE APRIL 1ST, 2022

Abstract Submission Format:

Abstracts should be no longer than 400 words and submitted as a Word document.
All material should be displayed in Arial, 10-Font.
Abstracts for original research or quality assurance/performane improvement should include the following information: Title, Author's Names and Credentials, Institution, Institution Location, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Abstracts for Case report/case series should include the following information: Title, Author's Name and Credentials, Institution, Institution Location, Introduction, Case Presentation, Discussion, and Conclusion

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by members of the SCCM Michigan Chapter Education Committee members use a standardized rubric. Authors will be informed of their acceptance to present at the event by May 1st, 2022.
