SURVEY ON SUSTAINABILITY AND THE SDGS

  • Purpose

Malaysia adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (2030 Agenda) and its implementation framework, the SDGs, in September 2015 and has subsequently integrated the SDGs in its development plans and growth strategies. The 2030 Agenda serves as a shared blueprint for people, peace, prosperity and planet, as well as partnerships to accelerate implementation. Now, with eight years remaining to 2030, it is important to understand where and how organisations are transforming themselves to incorporate these sustainability principles in their operations and contributing individually and collectively to the Goals.

    About the Survey

The TogetherforSDGs survey is a set of questionnaires on sustainability practices and SDGs related actions. The objective is to raise awareness, initiate and accelerate the necessary actions for sustainable development.

The survey aims to profile relevant SDGs being implemented by representatives from the private sector, NGOs, CSOs, and academia in Malaysia in line with 2030 Agenda and the SDGs. The survey questionnaire covers aspects of business, CSR projects, initiatives or research undertaken by organisations. The survey aspires to profile contributions to the SDGs, and achievements and identify gaps which require attention.

Data will be aggregated and results presented on the TogetherforSDGs portal dashboard. Responses will be kept strictly confidential, and the anonymity of participants is guaranteed.

We urge organisations, NGOs, civil society organisations and academia to participate and complete these questions fully and accurately.

The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

    Thank you for your time!
