All volunteers, even those who already have existing skills, are welcomed and encouraged to learn new skills. Are there new skills you are interested in learning at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation?
How frequently are you looking to volunteer? We generally ask for at least one day or 6 hours per month.*
Costumed interpretation and historic skills demonstrations happen almost exclusively on the weekends. We appreciate people being available for the site's full hours of operation plus preparation time, approximately 10:30am-4pm. For volunteers interested in volunteering in this capacity please indicate whether you prefer Saturdays, Sundays, or both. You will not be locked into this choice, this answer reflects your general availability and preference. If you are not interested in costumed interpretation or historic skills demonstrations you can choose “not applicable”*
