  • We are delighted that you are considering studying a Crosslands Training seminary course.  

    This form can be used to apply for either our Masters or our unaccredited programme. Complete the application no later than 30th June 2022 to ensure that your applicaion is processed.

    It will take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.

    Please read the questions carefully and complete all fields as accurately and honestly as possible. Any mistakes or failures to disclose relevant information may delay the processing of your application or, in serious cases, jeopardise your place on the course.

    To complete the application you will need to:

    • Pay a deposit of £300/€350 via bank transfer; and
    • Provide the name and email address of your Mentor ( usually a senior church leader in authority over you) ; and
    • Upload official evidence of prior qualifications achieved. 

    For Masters applications we normally require the applicant to hold an undergraduate degree. You will need to upload transcripts of your undergraduate degree. Please note that a degree certificate is NOT sufficient. An original official 'transcript' issued by the institution that you studied with showing your grades is required.

    Once submitted, we will send you an email to confirm receipt of your application and contact your mentor automatically.

  • Children's & Youth Ministry (CYM)

    For those who specialise in ministry amongst families, children and youth, usually in the local church, who may not yet have had any formal theological training. 

    Cross Cultural Ministry (CCM)

    For those who are already in or preparing for ministry and mission in a cross cultural context, whether at home or abroad.

    Music Ministry (MM)

    For those who specialise in music ministry and leadership, usually in the local church, who may not yet have had any formal theological training.

    Vocation, Life and Leadership (VLL)

    For believers working in any area of life who long for deeper theological education and personal formation that will equip them to be godly, influential disciples and leaders both in their field of work and in their local church.

    Women in Ministry (WiM)

    For women who are in ministry leadership roles (or hope to be in the future), who want to pursue rounded, in-depth theological formation but with the specific perspectives, needs and opportunities of women in mind, and who need a flexible way to fit study in alongside everyday life and ministry.

  • Reference

  • We want your Crosslands studies to be strongly connected back into your life and local ministry you need to have a nominated mentor throughout your time with Crosslands. The help of a mentor, and the accountability that brings, is a vital part of your formation, helping you to stay on track, reflect on what you are learning and apply it in your own life and ministry. 

    Please give us the name of a mentor who can;

    • speak of your character;
    • confirm your ability to commit to the course;
    • complete various tasks to support your study; and
    • ensure that you are supported through ongoing mentoring.

    Usually your mentor is a church or ministry leader in authority over you.  They cannot be related to you (e.g. spouse, parent, child etc).

    When you submit this application, your named mentor will be contacted and invited to fill out a short reference to confirm that you:

    1. are a Christian of good standing in your local church;
    2. can cope with the academic rigours of Seminary level studies; and
    3. will receive encouragement and support through your studies.

    Additionally they will promise to ensure you have the required time and space to study, as well as completing the work needed in a timely fashion to support modules that require their involvement. They commit to establishing appropriate mentoring reviews and rhythms to ensure your education with Crosslands is being applied appropriately to your day-to-day life and mission in the local church.

  • Fees

  • Fees for the academic year 2022/23 for the MA programme are £3,900 /€4,600. A deposit of £300/ €350 is payable with your application. You will be invoiced  £1,800 (€2,125) at the start of August which must be paid by 30 August 2022. The 2nd instalment will be payable by 30 January 2023.

  • Fees for the academic year 2022/23 for the unaccredited programme are £2,800 /€3,300. A deposit of £300/ €350 is payable with your application. You will be invoiced £1,250 (€1,475) at the start of August which must be paid by 30 August 2022. The balance will be payable by 30 January 2023.

  • Students who are eligable for the virtual hub will receive a small discount on thier fees. 

    Your fees cover everything for the year, except accomodation at the annual winter conference, any travel expenses for the residentials or seminar days, or the cost of any set texts that students are required to buy. You should budget carefully to factor in travel and book costs for the duration of your studies.

    You must pay the £300 deposit on submiting your application. On submitting your application you will receive an email providing details of how to make this payment. Should someone else be making this payment on your behalf please do pass these details onto them. The application will not be processed further till the deposit payment has been received.

    • If we approve your application, this payment will be credited towards your fees for the year.
    • If we decline your application, this payment will be refunded back to you in full.

    Please note that the deposit is not refundable under any other circumstances (e.g. if you withdraw your application). 

    Crosslands reserves the right to increase fees each year in line with inflation.

    We are delighted that you are applying to study with Crosslands Seminary. By clicking 'submit' below you agree to send your your application form to us and we will process it in accordance wtih our Privacy Policy. You'll receive a copy to the email address you provided. Crosslands will use the information you have provided to process your application. We will be in touch with your Mentor to ask them to sign their Mentor Covenant and we will notify you when this has happened. The time taken to process your application is usually 1 week from the date of submission of the Mentor Covenant.
