CG Athletics Booster Club is a nonprofit organization that consists of parents/guardians of the athletes of CG Athletics All-Star Cheer and Dance. The booster club is a great way to get involved with the entire gym. We help to support the gym and to help the athletes and their families raise funds to offset expenses. Each member of the Booster Club is required to pay dues and become a member.
Dues are $60 per athlete ($30 for non-competitive teams and second athlete within the gym) and are due by June 1, 2022. Once you return your contract to the Booster Club Treasurer, they will email you a paid invoice and this will ensure we also have your information correct.
Dues cover the following:
Ability to participate in sponsored gym fundraising opportunities
Ability to participate in sponsored gym events (ie: picnic, banquet, etc.)
End of the year banquet meal
Mandatory fundraiser for gym improvements (floor improvements, equipment, etc.)
Miscellaneous fees
WHAT CAN I USE MY BOOSTER CLUB FUNDS FOR?
Booster club funds may be used for:
Travel expenses
Uniform
Practice wear
Competition entry fees
Monthly tuition
Booster Club funds may not be used for:
Payment for classes
Payments of private lessons
Payments for open gyms
Can I Transfer money from my booster club account into my CG account?
Yes. Transfer funds between accounts by sending an email to cgbooster@gmail.com with the amount you wish to transfer.
What happens if the athlete decides to leave the gym before the season is over?
If there is money left in an individual’s account, it will be transferred to the general fund and will not be reimbursed to the athlete.
What happens if there is money left at the end of the season?
Booster Club account funds roll over each year, as long as the athlete is re-registered for the next season. If the athlete chooses not to return to CG athletics, then the balance of their account will be transferred to the general fund and will not be reimbursed to the athlete.
All funds deposited into the Booster Club accounts are considered donations to a nonprofit organization. Therefore, all money deposited into the Booster Club accounts are non refundable and non-transferrable.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM THE BOOSTER CLUB?
The Booster club will send information via newsletter, email and Facebook.
You will receive monthly Booster Club Statements from the Booster Club manager
When you pay your booster club dues, that makes you eligible for 75% of the fundraising and 25% goes to the Booster Club.
Please fill out the attached information sheet and return it with your payment to insure your family is receiving all Booster Club information.
