    Tax Abatement Approval Steps:

  • *All application documents and associated fees must be submitted to the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development before tax abatement will be considered by the designating body for approval.

    *When requesting tax abatement the City will base commitment on information provided above and will require a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) based on this information.
