We're thrilled that you're interested in joining our community of creative makers at Lacey MakerSpace! Whether you're a seasoned expert or just starting out, everyone is welcome here. Our volunteer program is designed to train and develop individuals in every aspect of the MakerSpace.

What Does The Volunteer Program Entail?

WEEKLY SHIFTS: Commit to a minimum of a 3 hour long shift

SCHEDULE: Share your availability and preferences with us. Your input helps us organize our calendar effectively.

HOURS WORKED: Earn credits towards a free membership with every 9 hours worked. Additional hours can be exchanged for machine time credits.

UPDATES: Receive regular updates, news, and changes via our newsletter and staff/volunteer meetings
Volunteer Responsibilities
While we will try to place our volunteers in specific areas based on skills and interests, every volunteer is expected to:
- Assist with setting up and closing down the space
- Contribute to maintenance projects
- Keep the space tidy and organized
- Provide basic customer service to members
- Assist members with projects and questions about tools and equipment
