Isolation Instructions (if you tested positive for COVID-19)
After you test positive for COVID-19 you must remain isolated until you meet the criteria from the CDC to be released from isolation. Please stay home and isolate yourself from others to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Isolation means staying home for at least 5 days from when your symptoms started, or 5 days from your positive test if you have no symptoms (asymptomatic)
You may be released from isolation after 5 days if:
- You have not had a fever in the last 24 hours (without the use of fever reducing medication) and,
- Symptoms are getting better
If you get off isolation after 5 days you must wear a mask whenever you are around people (including people in your own home) for the next 5 days.
If your symptoms are getting worse or you have a fever on day 5, remain on isolation for 5 more days.
