The purpose of Y.E.S. PrideFest is to bring people together in the spirit of Y.E.S.’s mission to work to empower youth, teens, adolescents, and young adults by offering a safe place in order to self-educate or to use for the purpose of collecting resources and to seek counseling in an environment that is compassionate, and empathetic to the needs and concerns of the queer community.   

 

·         From 1969 till now Pride has progressed and continue to be a moment of celebration for all people but specifically to help the youth and each generation progress in equality, visibility, and awareness.

·         Pridefest empowers the people within rural PA to know that being of the LGBTQA+ community is a meaning to live authentically without stress of social norms of hate.

·         The event also shows the action of visible to supporting the LGBTQA+ community and the services that are needed for such individuals in the surrounding area.

 

We ask you to consider being one of our communities sponsors this year to help empower, support, and celebrate the power of community. It will also be a great opportunity to highlight programs, services and resources available for all participants and their families in the region of (Region area).
