Hair warranties/refunds & general terms.
Choosing a hair loss system is a big step in masking your hairloss i will explain the system in full at your consultation - below is general terms & conditions.
Hair closures (parting piece) are a disposable item some closures will last around 12 weeks & others will last up to 6 months due to how they are manufactured & home aftercare.
Over time the closure will shed hair.
No refunds can be given on bespoke hair pieces due to them being bespoke & for each client.
Custom colouring-
My supplier offers toppers in a large range of colour choices , should you require a custom colour an additional charge will apply which i will quote on consultation.
The colour will be discussed on consultation & we will agree on the desired colour & i will send samples of the colour swatches to check you are happy with the result via pictures via email or via in person consulatation.
After the colour has been agreed by confirmation of the client ,no changes can be made.
This also is applies for quanity & length of hair chosen.
Colour fade
Fading naturally occurs with all types of hair loss systems
Due to the way in which hair extensions are coloured they will naturally fade similar to how normal hair that's coloured fades from sunlight, heat styling etc particularly ash tones some brown shades will fade over time and reveal THEIR brassy undertones particularly in the summer months.
Some light ash shades for example will go brassy (orange) over time within the summer months this may happen in as little in as 4 -8 weeks.
Use of toner shampoos can refresh blonde shades
I recommend you do not wear your hair loss system abroad as this accelerates the fade.
Causes of fading include sunshine, heated appliances, hard water.
My recoloring will be quoted for as and when fading occurs - clients will need to factor in this cost when working out their budget for having hair extensions.
For some clients this recolouring service will need repeating every 4-12 weeks depending on my clients lifestyle.
Rotation
As hair gets refitted wefts will become shorter due to new postition along with your topper it will get shorter at each fit.
Hair density will become thinner over time due to shedding.
Other information.
Depending on which type of system you have, will determine how long the system can last.
Positioning of hair pieces for hair integration & if you decide you want a change.
We will decide the best postition for your hair loss system to be applied before i fit the unit & we will both make sure you are happy with that position
If you decide you want a different hair style new hair may need to be purchased.
Decide you dont like the hair loss system after fitting? If you decide wearing a hair loss system isn't for you?
You will be offered a removal and blowdry charged at my normal removal charge £40 , in some cases i may be able to convert your system into a clip in piece for a additional charge £50 -£80
Refunds are not available on the hair if you change your mind after it had been fitted.
Adjustments in between refits , if you feel adjustments are required between refits i usally charge a fee for this & i cannot cover any travel expeneses you may incur.
Full refit of your system is required every 6-8 weeks. Pinch forwards are required every 4-3 weeks .Your hair will continue to grow under the system & will feel looser the nearer the refit appointments. Prices for maintenance appointments will be agreed at your consultation.
Hair closures are a disposable item & due to how they are manufactured no warranty is available.
Weaves that haven’t been custom coloured have a small warranty period that I will make you aware of.
No refunds can be given on bespoke hair pieces due to them being bespoke & hygiene reasons.
Ongoing hair loss between refits - your hair loss condition may be active whilst wearing your hair loss system . For example if you suffer with alopecia new patches of hair loss may appear between your refit appointment. I will assess your hair and scalp condition at each appointment you attend.
