RecPlex Learn to Skate Cancellation Request Form
  • RecPlex Learn to Skate Make-Up Request

  • We’re sorry that you have to miss your class! Please read through the following instructions carefully and fill out the form completely to ensure the class you’re requesting is running and staffed properly.

    • Makeup forms must be submitted at least 48 hours before attending the makeup class.
    • Each missed class requires its own makeup form. For example, if your skater is in both a Freeskate class and a specialty class, two separate forms must be submitted.
    • Skaters are allowed one makeup per class per month. If a class is canceled, skaters may have an additional makeup for the canceled day.
    • Makeups cannot roll over from month to month. For example, a skater cannot make up classes missed in January during February.
    • If a class is missed at the end of the month, the skater can use the remainder of the month to complete the makeup. For instance, if your family has a planned vacation on the last Wednesday of March, your skater can attend any Monday in March for a makeup. However, they cannot makeup this missed class in April.

    Please Note:

    • Intro to Skating and Ice Explorers do not have a makeup option.
    • Specialty classes are only held once a week, so there is no exact class to makeup, but skaters can attend another specialty class for makeup ice time and a different class focus.

If you are unsure which class to sign your skater up for, please reach out to the Learn to Skate Specialist, Lexi Phillips, at lphillips@pleasantprairiewi.gov

Your skater is allowed to attend the class you requested unless you hear from staff regarding an issue with the form or non-compliance with the above rules. If you do not hear from staff about an issue, please plan to attend the class as requested.
