Sales Contract and Health Guarantee

This is a contract and health guarantee made between Emily Hood and/Or Ashley Lawson, henceforth referred to as Breeder, and the Buyer for the sale of one or more Siberian Husky puppies. All animals are healthy to the best of Breeder’s knowledge. Puppies have received the first vaccination, vet checked, and have been de-wormed multiple times.
1. Health guarantee limits:
a. excludes internal and external parasites, fertility problems, eye color change and/or communicable diseases.
2. Buyer Requirements:
a. The puppy must be examined by a licensed Veterinarian within the first 72 hours (3 business days) of coming home if you feel there is a health issue.
b. All vaccinations must be kept current and done by a licensed Veterinarian
c. If a serious health issue that is diagnosed by a licensed Vet at initial exam, Buyer must contact Breeder within 48 hours and provide documentation of the problem from a licensed Veterinarian.
d. If puppy is bought with no breeding papers, also called limited rights with AKC, puppy must never be bred
3. Replacement Eligibility, puppies are eligible for replacement if any of the following problems are encountered and documentation of the issue is provided and the replacement terms listed in item 4 are followed:
a. If the puppy is diagnosed with a genetic issue within the first 2 years from birth
4. Replacement or Recovery Terms:
a. Original puppy must be returned to the breeder at the expense of the buyer unless other agreements are made between Breeder and Buyer
B. There will be absolutely no money refunded by the Breeder for any reason
C. Should circumstances arise where the buyer is unable to properly care for or keep the puppy, for any reason, the buyer shall contact the seller immediately to return the puppy with no compensation. Buyer must surrender all written records pertaining to said puppy. The dog is never to be relinquished to any other person, humane society, animal control, or rescue. This provision is to ensure the puppy will not end up homeless, destroyed, or not where I don’t know.
5. Liability. Buyer agrees to the following liability terms upon signature of contract.
a. Breeder is not responsible for any actions taken by the puppy while not on Breeder’s property.
b. Breeder is not responsible for any damage, acts of aggression, or injury to any person or animal caused by the puppy once it is in the possession of the Buyer
c. Upon taking possession of the puppy, the Buyer assumes full responsibility and liability for the puppy.
6. Closing
This contract is rendered null and void if requirements listed above are not met and all documentation is not provided. Any legal filings must be done in the county where Breeder resides and the Buyer will be responsible for any legal expenses. I have read the above contract thoroughly, and understand and agree to the terms set forth in this document. I also understand this is a legal and binding agreement and will abide by the terms we have set forth. I acknowledge my acceptance of this contract with my signature below.
