    Winter 5786
  • Dear Returning Applicant,

Thank you for interest in coming back for another session at Camp Yeka Girls! We look forward to welcoming a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated team this coming winter.

  • Dear Applicant,

Thank you for reaching out to Camp Yeka Girls. We look forward to welcoming a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated team this coming winter.

In order to apply you need to send in the following three items,

    1. This form signed by yourself in agreement to our requirements.
    2. Two reference letters (include their contact information form so we can make further inquiries if we wish).
    3. The medical formed signed by yourself (and a parent if you are under 18).
  • Winter 2024-2025 dates are as follows:

    Dec. 28 – Jan. 8/9
Staff fly out on Dec. 28
Camp is from Dec. 31 - Jan. 6
Staff fly home on Jan 8 or 9 depending on tickets

Due to the current situation in Ukraine we are in touch with our Rav, Mashpia, and the Shluchim and will be following their advice for all camp decisions with safety being our top priority.

Please be advised that priority goes to returning staff and girls post-sem and older. (12th graders are encouraged to apply as we will be accepting a small group).

We will try and get back to you as soon as possible but due to the high number of applicants please note it may take time to hear a final answer.

To fully apply to camp you need to fill out this application form, the Medical form and the Staff guidelines form (which includes the references requirements). All are found on our website.

Fundraising for camp is $2,000 to cover your ticket and towards the camp budget. If you are accepted we will send you the full information on how it works when the time is right.

Before applying please note some guidelines:

    • We expect all our staff to follow all tznius rules at all times. This means knees, elbows, legs and collarbone are covered always. Any mode of dress that could be questionable in your role as a counselor and example of a frum, chabad girl, is obviously not what we are looking for. We understand that tznius is the most external factor of where someone is holding in their lives, however, due to the language barrier where the children focus a lot on your external yiddishkiet and due to unfortunate feedback in the past from the kids, we are really requesting that you only apply if you can conform to our tznius standards.

    • Every staff member is required to fundraise a minimum of $2,000 in order to come to camp (there are no exceptions). This is how camp survives and brings in half our winter budget. Additionally it's a great preparation for you as a staff member to get into the true spirit of why we do camp. Once you have raised your $2,000 through our online fundraising platform (yekagirls.com/winter), your ticket and other expenses are covered. Obviously anyone who is able to bring in more money or donated items is welcome to. Please note tickets are return from NY and only.

    • Yeka is an incredible experience and everyone loves it, campers and staff. However we ask that you understand the kids are not objects of pity for your instagram feed. Only apply if you truly want to help the kids, be a warm and devoted counselor and be prepared that although you will have a fantastic time, it is also hard work.

    • Please note that if you have an ongoing medical condition we cannot cater to that traveling between countries and therefore do not apply. All your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. You are required to have your own travel and medical insurance plan in case of emergency.

    Thank you for your application
