MIDSOUTH COVENANT CAMP

CILT APPLICATION

The Counselor in Leadership Training (CILT) program is designed to prepare high school youth (entering 10th to 12th grades) to be effective both as counselors at our Midsouth Covenant Camp and as leaders in their churches.

CILT training will take place during camp (July 28 to August 3, 2024). CILT campers participate in all of the regular camp activities when not in training or practice sessions. All CILTs will live in the cabins with their assigned cabin groups. After being informed of their acceptance into the program, CILTs are required to register for camp as a CILT and pay the discounted CILT registration fee. No deposit is needed. CILTs who successfully complete two years of CILT training may qualify to be counselors or camp worship team members, even if they are younger than 18 years old.

A limited number of CILT positions are available. Students seeking placement in the CILT track must complete the following application by June 1st. Also, they must give the reference forms to two adults (their church pastor and one other person not a relative) and have the adults finish their references by June 1st.

All CILT applications and reference forms are due by June 1, 2024. Applicants will be notified of acceptance to the CILT program by June 15th. After acceptance, each CILT will fill out the Camper Registration form and will submit the completed paperwork to the camp registrar by July 15th. Full payment of $425 is due by July 30.
