3. ABOUT ME:
Faith & Religious Beliefs

Having an “open door” to all women is fundamental to the ethos of Gather; as a Christian faith-based ministry, we work alongside and welcome those of other faiths or none without compromising our commitment to our Christian witness. Therefore, in order to maintain this ethos it is essential that certain roles are filled by committed Christians.

These roles are:
- Core team
- Team leaders
- Frontline outreach team
- Prayer team
- Befrienders - accompanying to church/Alpha course etc.
If the role for which you are applying states that you are required to have a personal commitment to the Christian faith, the information you supply in the ‘Faith’ section of your application will be taken into account in the selection process.

If this is not the case, whilst you will be required to respect, uphold and honour the Christian ethos of Gather - outlined on the ywam.org website, you are not required to complete the ‘Faith’ section.

  2. Employer/teacher - should have observed you in a work/course capacity.
    
    YWAM Leader - If within the last 5 years you have served within or alongside YWAM (for more than 6 months) please feel free to add a YWAM Leader reference.
  3. Church Leader Reference - We understand that many people go to large churches and so the most senior pastor might not be the best person to write you a reference. Therefore, please select the most senior leader with a close discipleship relationship to you - this could be your pastor, youth leader, bible study leader etc. If you have already completed the Church Leader information in the Faith & Belief section you will only see one referee below - add a different referee, who is NOT your church leader.
