Currently there is about a 6 month wait to get into our Sports Foundations classes. These classes are ongoing until the skills are mastered that are needed to graduate to beginners classes. This can take anywhere from 9 to 18 months. Also dogs must be at least 12 months of age to enroll in beginners classes.
It is recommended that dogs be between 4 months and 5 years to start agility training.
Classes are $135 for a block of 6 and you have 9 weeks to use the 6 classes.
What to do while you wait for a spot?
1. Enroll in a positive training obedience class or tricks class. We recommend Animal Humane Society, Pawsabilities, Canine Coach and Twin Cities Obedience Training Club.
2. Enroll in our online foundations class which has a lot of the exercises in it that you will be learning in the first 2 to 3 months of the in person class. This can give you a head start. It is $120 if you want to be able to submit videos for feedback. It is $60 if you want the information and to work on your own. Go to this link to register.

3. Socialize your dog to noises, things that move under their feet, different kinds of surfaces and to being able to focus on you with distractions of people, dogs and noises. Agility is an off leash sport so focus on you is very important.
4. Please crate train your dog so they can be comfortably crated during class. This helps for advanced classes and competitions when dogs need to be crated between turns. It is also a good life skill for being at the vet or boarded.
