  •  1 - AILA QLD FUTURE LEADER AWARD (Graduate)

    This award recognises achievement in design, planning, communications and research that is based upon the development of innovative, creative and practical solutions to landscape architectural challenges.

    The submission is to be nominated by a current or former employer. The entrant must be a graduate member of AILA and must have graduated from an AILA accredited landscape architectural course no more than five years previously.

    2 - JUDGING CRITERIA

    Entries will be assessed in terms of demonstrated and recognised outstanding achievement, which may include the following:

    • Demonstrated professional practice excellence; through innovation, superior communications skills, project management or leadership.
    • Projects or equivalent initiatives that demonstrate the possibility of providing future leadership to the profession.
    • Activities or projects that raise the profile and understanding of the profession
    • Leadership and initiatives that address the profession's priorities such as those outlined in the Landscape Charter.
    • A demonstrated enthusiasm, interest, and involvement in the profession of landscape architecture and an understanding of how it might relate to the wider community currently and in the future.

    Judging will be undertaken by the 2022 AILA QLD Awards Jury and winners will be announced at the 2022 QLD Awards Announcement 16 June 2022.

  • 3 - SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    Each submission for Future Leader Award is to be supplied via this Jotform and includes:

    • Completed Submission Form (this form).
    • A signed PDF document (maximum of five pages) outlining the outstanding work undertaken by the individual.
    • A signed statement from the Nominator about the Graduate.
    • A profile picture of the nominee for promotion.
    • At a minimum, one hi-res JPEG supporting the nomination for promotion.

    Optional: Any other information, documentation that may assist the jury in their decision  
    Highly Recommended: Up to eight images as JPEG files including both Hi and Low Resolution

    Note: there are no National Future Leaders Awards. No entry fee is required for Future Leaders Awards submissions.

     

    4 - 2022 AILA QLD FUTURE LEADER AWARD CLOSING DATE

    Entries are to be submitted by 5:00pm AEST, Friday 8 April 2022.
