1) Our Preschool follows the Rockyview School Board’s Yearly Calendar and will be closed for statutory holidays, Spring Break, PD Days, Teacher’s Convention and Winter Holidays. Monthly tuition will remain the same.
2) If our Preschool is unable to open due to extreme weather (also in accordance with Rockyview School Board), or other unforeseen circumstances, there will not be any make-up days provided.
3) At the time of registration, you will be required to e-transfer a one-time, non-refundable Registration Fee of $80 to account for materials and resources. Please send your e-transfer for registration fees to: smallbutmightypreschool@gmail.com
4) When guardians register their child prior to the start of the upcoming school year, they will be asked to pre-pay their child’s tuition for the month of June as a deposit. Please send either $195 (if your child is enrolled in a two day/ week program), $257 (if your child is enrolled in a three day/ week program) or $345 (if your child is enrolled in a four day a week program) to: smallbutmightypreschool@gmail.com
Please feel free to combine your child's deposit with their registration fee and send one total amount.
Please note: We ask that all e-transfers for registration fees and deposits kindly be sent within 3 business days of registration.
5) All children enrolled in one of our licensed preschool programs are eligible for a monthly credit of $75 from the government as part of the Childcare Affordability Grant. Parents are asked to continue to pay their monthly fees upfront, and then will be reimbursed by the preschool through e-transfer once the preschool has received funds from the government. The way this is currently set up, allows for the preschool to reimburse parents approximately a month and a half after parents have submitted their payment to the preschool. For example, parents will pay upfront by Sept. 1st the entire amount of their child's fees and then will be reimbursed by the preschool, after we receive funds from the government, around the second week of October.
6) Our preschool is also set up to receive subsidy for a flat amount of $125/month for families that qualify based on household income. For further information and to directly apply, please visit:

7) To withdraw a child from the program, parents must provide written notice one full month before the 1st of the month that you wish to leave. For example, if you wish to withdraw for October, notice must be provided before September 1st. Failing to provide timely notice will result in forfeiting the deposit fee (pre-paid tuition for June). If you withdraw your child after February 28, 2022, you will automatically forfeit the deposit fee as it is unlikely we will be able to fill your child’s spot for the remainder of the school year.
8) September Withdrawal Exception: If parents in combination with our staff deem that a child is not yet ready to participate in our program during the first school month of September, they will be refunded their full deposit fee.
9) When space is available, students are welcome to register at any point during the current school year. At that point, a deposit will not be required. Instead parents will be asked to pay the registration/resources fee (which may be adjusted depending on how many months are left in the school year) along with the upcoming month's payment. The remaining monthly tuition amounts will be paid accordingly going forward.
10) Parents are asked to either provide a post-dated cheque for the first of each month to pay for their child’s tuition (September - May, as June is accounted for with the deposit fee) OR send monthly e-transfers, to be sent prior to the first of the month, for September - May. Late payments, or insufficient funds, will be subject to an additional $25 late penalty, which will increase incrementally weekly until payment is received.
