FINDING LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS - Caring for Self & Others

(Cost is $10/adult and $4/child to cover dinner)
This event will take a deeper look at mental health with breakout sessions led by local professionals for anxiety/depression, addiction, domestic violence/abuse, trauma, & grief/loss. These sessions will give insight on how to care for ourselves and others. Our goal is to normalize mental health care, and creating a safe space in our church for those who need support and community. Registration is required for main event. We will also provide free childcare for infant - 4th Grade.
Schedule
4:00 - 5:00pm: Four mental health professionals will briefly speak on our 5 topics
5:00 - 5:30pm: Dinner & Fellowship
5:30 - 6:30pm: Breakout Sessions: anxiety/depression, addiction, domestic violence/abuse, trauma, & grief/loss
6:00 - 7:00pm: Closing
TWEENS & YOUTH

All 5th - 12th graders are invited to join us in the Youth Building for a special time to focus how to care for themselves and others through various mental health issues. Registration is not required, however, we as that you contact Denise Van Atta via email (DVanAtta@FUMCPensacola.com) to let her know you're coming.
