Benevolence Farm would not be where it is today without the tremendous support of volunteers and interns. Hundreds of people have played a key role in many facets of this organization since its founding. Due to Benevolence Farm’s unique and multi-faceted approach to achieving its mission, volunteers and interns are offered unique opportunities to serve in ways that are meaningful. Your reasons for engaging with us may vary, and that’s okay. Our goal is for you to have a positive experience at Benevolence Farm!

The nature of our work requires a keen understanding of the women we serve. To better support volunteers and interns in having a meaningful experience, and to meet the needs of our residents, we require that each person review required materials before proceeding. These materials will be sent to you upon completion of this form.

We love our interns! And because we love our interns, we want this placement to be as beneficial to you as it is to us. At this point in our organizational journey, we do not have the capacity to run a paid internship program. We understand that many students need a form of income each semester and/or summer and we are not here to exploit your labor in any way.

That being said, if you still want to pursue an internship for academic purposes, your school offers a paid internship program, or you just have some extra time you want to donate, we are very happy to talk more. We place the decision in your hands as you know best what you need to succeed and be healthy during your time as a student and human being, especially in these stressful times!
