As a reflection of the Law School’s long-standing commitment to public service advancing our system of laws and government, Duquesne University School of Law McGinley Public Service Law Fellowships allow students currently enrolled at the School of Law to volunteer in a public service position during the summer and receive an award of up to $3,000.
The projects will involve legal and legislative issues relating to all three branches of government. Students must independently secure placements with public service agencies or departments to apply.
PILA Fellowships enable students to volunteer non-profit legal services organizations that serve children, indigent clients, and other members of the community whose rights would not otherwise be protected.
